You mean Mandy Patankin? (I probably spelled his name wrong). He
was/is huge on Broadway, and also was in the film Alien Nation (as Sam
Fransisco), and the Barbara Striesand's love interest in "Yentl"
(among many other things).

And she was a recurring bimbo in "Lois & Clark" and had a guest
appearance in some blessedly short-lived series about Jules Verne (or

Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
