Basic unfairness of life

I've been thinking of the basic unfairness of life. I mean here we are a
few days from the opening of a movie based on a SF TV show that lasted
less than one season and yet a grand story like B5 that revolutionized
the way stories can be told on tV cn't get a movie off the ground.
Now I like Firefly and am looking forward to Serenity. But to be honest
it is not nearly as compelling a story nor universe as B5 was and is.
That's all folks, just wanted to vent.
