I
Disagree
Somewhat.
If you pay close attention to any of the technical details, it falls
apart. But that's par for the course. I find "bad guys largely get away
with it" and "secret conspiracy" stories very annoying. Gratuitous time
travel is very *very* annoying. And it was an hour-and-a-half or two
hour movie shoehorned into four hours. But, it seemed to me, not really
much worse than the original movie. If you jsut ignore the fact that it
was supposed to be a remake (re-imagining, maybe?) and just treat it as
a completely separate story that happened to hame some character names
and code names in common.
Of course, I did have the advantage of being able to fast forward
through some parts, and was multitasking, so I wasn't subjected
to the unbuffered horror of it.
