The current insolation of Muaraeb, at 77 % that of Earth, is more than
that of Mars, which is about 44%. Scaled to solar insolation, Muaraeb
at closest gets slightly more heat than Earth on average, and at the
farthest it still is warmer than Mars at closest.
Thinking about the relatively lower insolation, it's going to
be necessary to pump up the surface temperature
Hmm...perhaps it's not necessary to do all that much to the
atmosphere. Increasing the surface pressure from 1atm to
1.5atm or 2atm by increasing the nitrogen would imply
sufficient added greenhouse effect.
But I don't know how to calculate the effect.
