However, if a K-2 civilization is already using all the energy output
by their star(s), it would be economical to come build a Dyson Swarm
of solar collectors around yours, and beam the power back to theirs.

And (as Mr. Nicoll pointed out) if their scouts are worried that your
species may try to resist the project, they could prepare by beaming
enough power from one of their other stars onto your homeworld to
evaporate it.
