: That doesn't make any ense whatsoever. We *did* know there was missing
: energy with neutrinos.

No, we knew tracks in cloud chambers weren't lining up as expected.
This led us to *calculate* that there was missing energy.

We knew several conservation laws were being violated. it was a hell of a
lot more than mysterious tracks in a cloud chamber.

Just like we know tracks in galaxies aren't lining up as expected,
and this has led us to calculate there is missing mass.

You are assuming not only missing mass, but missing mass that is also
distributed in a specific way for no particular reason.

: So far we don't know of the problem is with F, M, or A. I have seen
: theories presented for all of them.

And the most successful ones, and those that look most promising
so far, are the ones with more M.

Well, no. Dark matter fails because it makes a prediction that hasn't
panned out- no one can show an iota of this stuff that supposed makes up 6x
the mass of ordinary matter. I don't demand 6 dark matter suns in the sky
next to the usual one, but the motion of local stars isn't consistent with
them or their environs being 6x as massive as we think they are.

: We have damn good reason to belive in the rest of physics, we have no
: reason whatsoever to belive dark matter exists.

We have reasons just as strong as other cases that eventually panned out.

We have proof just as strong as that for luminiferous ether...
