That makes a certain amount of sense. I haven't been to a travel agent
for quite some time, so I don't know if they have internet access these
days. Last time I was in one they certainly had their own computer
nework, but do they commonly have anything beyond that?


These days they do a lot of their bookings online - not just their own network, but also via the web to contact airlines, hotels, etc.
