That's a very odd concept, given that different command-line
interfaces are very different. Skills at MS-DOS, VMS, Unix, ITS,
Tenex, Wylbur, NOS/BE, and TSO command line interfaces have almost
nothing in common except skill at typing, which you obviously have.
So? What does that have to do with it? I haven't had to use a
command-line interface since DOS stopped mattering, and my skills
in that area have atrophied.
Because DOS and, e.g. Unix, are not one area. You might as well
say that your ability to converse in Chinese has declined since you
moved away from Paris, or that your ability to pilot an airplane has
decreased in the years since you sold your only car, or that you doubt
you can play a piano since your saxophone was run over by a truck.
What are you talking about? DOS used a command-line interface. Quit throwing in irrelevancies.
