I understand that things have been difficult for you, but that is no
reason to mischaracterize events willy-nilly.
My impression is that under the current regime, that most of the
benefit of growth in the economy has accrued to a very small
group - the top 2-3%.
It may well be, and it is my opinion, that median income
in real terms is flat, or falling.
Might be true.
On the other hand, I've seen it argued that the increase in inequality
is at least in part an artifact of changes in how the IRS reports the
data. I believe there was an exchange on that subject, with pieces on
both sides, some time back.
I think one person making the argument was associated with Cato. If so,
you could probably find it on their site with a little searching.
