Partially because he fell in with that disbarred lawyer who was
selling him incompetent advice leading to him filing a series of
unnecessary appeals and petitions.
Rebecca Bidwell? I recall her (or someone claiming to have that name)
spamming, claiming to be his lawyer, and asking for money. Any reason
to think she was telling the truth?
Is it routine to punish people for bad choice of lawyer by refusing to
let them have a trial, and dismissing their speedy trial suits?
