You know, Doug, I seem claims made in the UK, about the US, which don't
stand up to being tested against reality, and other claims which do.
It's not just limited to health care.

Because the US propaganda machine tells them that there's no
propaganda in the US.

I'm puzzled--at what point did any previous poster assert that there are
no lies common in the USA about the rest of the world?

Unless I've missed something, David invented a position for an imaginary
antagonist, and then you deduced the errors of the antagonist and the
existence of the US propaganda machine from his invented position.

I should add that I suspect most false beliefs about other places,
whether held in the US or elsewhere, are not lies, merely errors.
