Is the latter even possible? I would think years of chewing, or just
of having one's mouth frequently closed, would ensure that the top and
bottom teeth mesh properly.
QUite possibly the opposite; two of my front teeth (upper and lower)
are slightly misaligned, and have worn down to some extent over the
years; if i live to be 100 or so and still have all my teeth (i
currently still have 28, but i fear me i may lose another molar) the
wear might well be sufficient to cause problems.
A really severe overbite can not only cause chewing problems, but can
distort the face, as well.
