tank in my 1988 Honda CIVIC.
(although I'm aware the Civic does pretty well). Our old motor home
usually went 600 miles between fillups. Unfortunately it had a 75 gallon
tank.
Worked out to about 35 real-world MPG; 12 gallons.
That was with the AC on, of course.
With it off the mileage would have been more like 30 to 33 MPG.
What's air conditioning? ;-)
If you try to clean the atmosphere too often, it goes all funny, and you
have to use an air conditioner to get it to behave properly again.
It may have something to do with split ends on the oxygen molecules.
