One of my apartment neighbors visited me yesterday, and kept referring
the Kali as "Pumpkin", due to his color. I must admit I like the name,
and wonder if I should so rename him.
For Kali/Pumpkin is changing. I still have to keep the bedroom door
closed, to prevent Silver from attacking him. But he no longer hides
up on the closet shelf. He comes down, when I am in the room, for
petting and adoration. He purrs. And he probably thinks my Compline
prayers are directed to him.
This does lock Fluffy and Silver out of my bedroom, so they cannot
sleep with me. So I try to give them extra attention when I am out of
the bedroom.

Who was it that remarked that I retreat more then the X army in the Y
war? (Names omitted to avoid upsetting minoraties.) Well, this weekend
will see my last retreat of 2007, and the last that I paid for before
my overtime money vanished. Another 3 day AA retreat, hopefully not to
be cut short like my previous one.
