As most of you know, I underwent surgery for neuroendocrine tumors
arising in the pancreas on September 27th.
I'm pleased to hear the surgery was a success.
Thank you.
I hope you have medical insurance -- it sounds very expensive.
I'm on Medicaid.
The bill for the first hospital stay (the operation and the immediate
post-op two week stay) was $91,100.
Kaiser and Medicare have spent more than $2 million on me now, and a
majority of that is hospitalization.
(I'm waiting to read the next post.)
