Uh-huh. But not while being watched.

And it can get worse than them. I remember one time DunDraCon was
being held at a hotel near the Oakland Airport, where we'd always
had troubles with vandalism. Not so much from our guys, who had
come there to *game*, not run riot, but with kids wandering in
from outside and figuring the presence of so many other people,
some of them kids, gave them protective cover. But this
particular year we had the function rooms and we had five floors
of guest rooms, but the "concierge" level, the sixth floor, was
occupied by the roadies for Motley Crue (whom I can't spell with
their proper diacritics), who were doing a concert in the nearby
Coliseum. They trashed the sixth floor, and presumably paid for
the damage, and any damage done anywhere else in the hotel was
charged to them not us.

(We have a better hotel now, a Marriott far from anybody's
airport, and the airport hotel doesn't exist any more.)
