Re: In the supermarket

So, I had just put my stuff on the conveyor belt at the checkout and was
waiting for the person in front to be processed when a woman came up
behind me. Before getting out her stuff, she started looking around. I
asked her what she was looking for and it was the blue plastic dividers
you put to separate your purchases from everyone else's. I had already
put the only spare one on the belt behind my stuff, ready for the next
customer. She finally spotted it. "Oh, sorry," she said. "Most men
don't do that."

Ah, the unthinking hate of men that so many Feminised women ( The
cap is there for a reason ) so easily display.

Of course, she could not state how she knew that " most men don't ",
as its highly unlikely that she has conducted any scientific polls
of men, or read any on the topic of placing grocery line dividers.
She merely felt a need to express a *feeling* of animus towards
men, while a man did a nice thing for her. Wow, what gratitude.
(sarcasm mode off)

I've seen this, as well. On a visit a few years ago to a local
Sally Ann, I spotted a woman having trouble getting a smaller
dresser out of the store. So, I offered to help, and picked it
up for her, while she held the door.

As I did this, she, at first offered what she thought was thanks,
and finished her statement with " Its good that men are good for
something. ".

I put down the dresser, and replied " Indeed, men are good for
something, we call that 'something' *civilisation* ", and I put
down the dresser and walked away from her.

Why should anyone give to a person who is insulting a whole
sex while getting a favour from a member of the sex they're
insulting ?

Try this experiment: Take Paul's tale, reverse the sexes, and the
sex of the comment, and tell me: Is that a sexist tale that
results ?

If it is ( And, it is ), the its a sexist tale the original
way, too. Thats... equality.

Well, I'm not most men.

Most men aren't. Read Dr. Warren Farrell's " The Myth Of Male Power ".
And, don't act on a reflexive need to diss other men, when a woman
starts by dissing all men.

" It is exactly because men are fair that we've listened so patiently
to women's accusations that we're not. " Jack Kammer, " If Men Have
All The Power, How Come Women Make All The Rules ? ", page 12.
