It was in the automatic patching system two days ago for W2K and XP.

A quick question - there was an unofficial patch a few days back that involved deregistering a DLL and then running a program. There was a warning with this that one should reverse it before installing the proper patch as and when.


What (if anything) can one do if the automatic update system tries to install the new patch before the unofficial one is removed (this seems to have happened on a couple of our machines)?
