A lot of folks don't understand that you cannot make a vaccine for this
"bird flu" until we actually have examples to work on... and that since
the current strain doesn't move human-to-human, we have to wait for it
to mutate.
Yes, we need to watch the disease, and work on it so that those that
catch it from birds can be treated... but until there actually IS a
strain capable of causing a pandemic, you can't develop drugs to fight
it! The flu strain has to mutate from its present form, and that
mutation is unpredictable.
Life sucks, eh?
