Well, that's sure to change his mind. Yes sir, this sort of rhetoric will indubitably result in Zev instantly questioning his entire belief system and, almost certainly, coming around to ours. I applaud this constructive post. I have lost count of how many times my deepest beliefs were overturned by -just- the right insult.
You honestly believe there's any chance he's ever going to change his mind given that he's divorced himself from reality? These days a functioning adult has every opportunity to educate himself with the facts on his own. You can maintain ignorance only through a thorough application of will.
There are few enough people in the world who will discuss this in a rational manner already. Zev and Seth, with whom I disagree totally, are at least capable of carrying on a conversation without resorting to flaming.
He won't change his mind anymore than my parents will. They fundamentally don't want to be unhappy so they will live for the rest of their lives in the tiny little bubbles they've constructed for themselves only occasionally connecting with reality. The same with him.
You're doing a heck of a job, Reichie.
I see you are just as eager to apply the proper insult yourself, equating me with Brown.
And did that change your mind? Did it show you the error of your ways? Does it make you want to repent and go forth and do nothing but good from now on? So why do you think that what you're doing has any effect other than to convince people wavering on the edges that you have nothing but insults to offer?
That's your reaction to one single sarcastic remark. Now imagine the reaction to the larded-on cavalcade of ad hominems you're offering.
I don't care if the guy was insulted. If he chooses not to grow up and be an adult working to make this country actually function for the good of all its citizens, there's not a thing I can do about it.
And how about convincing anybody else who might be reading this?
It's all I can do to function day to day.
Sorry. Maybe you should find activities that don't raise your blood pressure.
