What *can't* you write about?
-Julie
I've discovered I can't write from an idea. I had one I wanted to
write about. I created a setting and characters for it. And got
stumped in trying to make decisions about time period, and other
factors. I just couldn't decide between options because too many would
serve the idea. I realized I really do need to start with characters
and setting and see what stories develop.
But that idea is still in the back of my mind, nagging at it. Maybe
someday...
