Yes, I can see that.

I worry about this all the time -rugby is a brutal game
and I spend a lot of time at A and E...

My impression is that while people often get pretty
thoroughly banged up, really serious injuries aren't all
that common. I'm pretty sure, for instance, that American
football has a distinctly worse record for deaths and
permanently disabling injuries. But rugby isn't very common
over here, and my impressions have come mostly from talking
with people who played in college or on amateur adult teams,
so I don't know how well they generalize.

Nicky ( My two eldest boys played the SA team who will be
in this contest when they were on tour there last year.
They lost horribly and my eldest boy fractured his
patella, though obviously he played on...)
