You assume that the age of consent is the same in your fictional
future as at present?

Note that in Minnesota, the age of consent is sixteen; which is also
the age of consent in several other states, and in the UK. There are
states which have lower ages of consent -- but I gather that there are
other laws which make it risky for an adult to have sex with someone
who is, for example, 14.
