Nope.
<snip>
Sean, it's best to just killfile her, and killfile anyone else who is rude
to you.

He's posting from Google Groups, where there are no killfiles.

Besides which, the gist of your intention is contained in the Newcomers'
FAQ, so repeating it is redundant.

Besides which again, he didn't seem overly upset by Marilee's post --
indeed, he seemed to recognise the justice of it sufficiently that he
apologised for a mistake he made -- so your suggestion was unnecessary.

And besides which yet again, welcoming a newbie to the group by telling
him who to pay attention to and who to ignore comes across as... like
taking aside the new kid at school and saying "Don't sit at *their*
table, they're the dweebs; and *he's* a jerk; and *she's* got some kind
of mental problem; but if you hang out with *me* you'll do just fine --
*I'll* see you right." You may not get on with Marilee, but plenty of
us do, and maybe Sean will too: certainly at present he has no major
quarrel with her, so it seems to me fairest to let him make up his own
mind.

(Yes, I know we don't want newbies to feel put off. See my paragraph 3
again.)
