There are a fair number of all wheel drive and minivans the don't have the manual option. In fact, when I bought my Subaru, I was warned that the automatic worked better than the manual. I've been happy with manual, although I will admit it is the only care I've ever had to replace the clutch at 36,000 miles. Otherwise, 60,000 is the minimum, and that was a 1958 GMC pickup that I got from my dad.
