You should carry an epi pen if you've ever had any kind of allergic

I wonder,... I've heard that exposition can immunize (prevent)
allergies, and also that exposition can cause allergies.
Meanie Brian went with the pun instead of giving you the proper word,
which is exposure.
Allergies do in fact go both ways with exposure. The kind of
controlled exposure you get in allergy shots mystifies me. I don't
know how they determine an amount that will make you less reactive.
But the epi pen is not a bit of the allergen, it's a massive
anti-inflammatory drug. If you ever have an allergic reaction to a
bite, you need an epi pen. I had several while I was on the
immunosuppressant because my body couldn't react for itself and I'd
get allergic reactions to things I don't normally.
(Heh. I just got up from a nap and "anti-inflammatory" looked wrong
to me so I ran the spellchecker. It ticked "epi" and
"immunosuppressant" instead.)
I didn't mean to imply that the epi pen works like allergy shots,
sorry.
