Lots of people come here assuming that everyone else here is on google,
or at the very least access this group through a google like interface.

It is google's fault, not yours. They spend very little time
acknowleging that usenet is an older system, and that they don't own it,
host it, or control it in any way, they merely provide access to it.

Since they don't *say* so, how could you know?

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with putting your website in your sig.
Many of us do.

Thanks for your help. I was on another system for a while and it was
hell on there. They finally got me to switch to Google and I find
even that is really not the same as a lot of you. I'm going to figure
out the rules and switch again if I can. So it's OK to end with my
ending? Great! Can I tell anybody who jumps me that you said it was
