I'm sorry that my discussion of my happiness with things like LaTeX causes you to feel like a pariah. That's not my intent, certainly; given the amount of time we spend writing and the tendency of people to mold their professional tools around their working style in deeply idiosyncratic ways, I'd find it absurd to expect that the same thing would make all of us happy.
And, personally, I'm glad there's no oatmeal shortage.
