The sun's out, it's 93F, and the birds are not singing, although they
are holding indignation meetings about the loss of habitat incurred when
our neighbor cut down a dead tree yesterday.

Sunset is starting, but it was in the low 80s today, with bits of rain
(big drops splashing on the windshield) and some wind. I had to
distract the kitties because we had mourning doves mating on the
porch.

(And I saw the physical therapist who was very happy with my range of
motion and relative strength (in one exercise with a resistance band,
I moved the heavy piece of equipment she had the band tied to), she is
very skeptical that exercise will fix the knee and thinks I'll need a
replacement.)
