I had trimmed out a followup to that saying that if he does such a
thing, he shouldn't be too surprised if the musician has his roadies
rough him up a little bit before releasing him back into the parking
lot, but I decided that was unneccessarily unkind to what was obviously
just a well-intentioned but clueless dweeb.

Of course, given commentary downthread, I may have made that decision
too hastily.
