Write no writing, read no writing, edit no writing. Just about does it
for me. I think I know what the problem is -- two books are jostling
for priority, presenting scenes which had me crying 'yes, yes, aaah'
as I walked on Sunday. Then there's the tardigrades* short, the
Melville-Thomson Ridge short, the solution to the global warming
problem** (yes, anthropogenic, can't understand why the Nobel Prize
committee hasn't been in touch), improved <ahem> porcelain item
design, new approach to pest control...

*Any news of the tardigrades? The short will be overtaken by events
when the little blighters are discovered on a comet -- and I'm a bit
worried about the short with Nefertiti in -- no news from the new tomb
yet.
**I part company with Essenhigh in believing that action is required,
but am struck by his uncanny resemblance to my brother. They could be
brothers (well, so could we, my brother and me, but we don't look in
the least alike, and you know what I mean).
