The correct solution for this is to place a box on the floor where your feet
sit. Something like an old wooden soda case (now I'm dating myself) if you
remember what those were.
the box the reams of copier paper came in should be about right. I did
wonder about those backless chairs where you're practically resting on
your knees. Not sure it would suit me (damaged pelvis).
They can also be hard on the knees if you have a tendency to sore kneecaps or arthritic joints.
