Well, I have used many readers in the past, and Outlook is a major step up
from posting on google groups. If this was my Linux machine, sure, I might
use a better reader. I really don't need testy and or smart___ comments on
the programs I post with, and if you hate all micro$oft products, then go
post to alt.microsoft.sucks. With outlook express I am happy, it will post
messages without me getting "errors in posting" then redoing the post, only
to find out that the error post did indeed make it to the newsgroup. (See
my lightsails question as a example.) Pointing out that this group prefers
heavy quoting, and to post under the quote, that is fine, I asked, and I
don't mind following what is the normal posting for a group. If you
noticed, when someone complained, I asked what was the rules and have been
following suit. To jump at me for something stupid (writing a nasty reponse
to me saying that thankfully my ISP has newsgroups, thus I can now post with
a real program and not though the web) is not a good way to run off new
posters to the newsgroup.
