That rings a bell, faintly, so it's probably in one of the stories
I've read. Since puppeteers are a bit reticent about their sex
lives, I'm not sure I can find the mention. You don't happen to
remember where that came from do you?

(Sounds like a story title: "through a glass, darkly" or "rings
a bell, faintly" or "shoots a glance, dimly" or something -- not
quite appropriate adverbs :-). One day my command of language
will improve to the point where I understand poetry, murkily.)
