By and large if I think I've made a hash of something I have and even
if several people tell me it's OK I won't be happy until it works for
me.
Why don't you read several novels in true omniscient and then read
yours again?
I'm afraid I am no expert on POV so I won't offer to read
your novel, but if you think it's probably wrong you probably need to
fix
it and you probably need to take less notice of what other people (who
are not editors) say - er - including me.
