I have a vague guess that psoriasis might be a fungus. I wonder if
anyone has looked.

A predatory fungus, white lines with thicker nodules laid across a
thin cheek, sad eyes of
the mother, pained eyes of the little boy. A Maori NZ captain, his
face unreadable, giving the mother some aspirin because this disease
was beyond his knowledge, beyond the reach of medicine. An image from
the past.
