I never wrote anything when I was working 'outside the home' not so
much as a haiku. I initially became a teacher because I thought I might
like to write in the holidays, but I never did.
I am genuinely amazed that people here can do so many things at once.
I am both lazy and horribly one track - can't walk and chew gum at
the same time.

Whenever I think about doing a real job that pays properly I know that
it would mean giving up writing because there isn't room in my head
for two jobs.( As we've already established my head doesn't
hold even one)
