This is, I believe, the third time you've appealed to this 'historical
knowledge' that you have and I don't. I think it's time for you to
actually demonstrate some of it. Let's start with cites for these
claims of yours:

1. Your friendly neighborhood public library.
2. Your friendly neighborhood college or PAL library.
3. Google, Jeeves, Metacrawler....
4. Wikipedia.

It will take you no more than ten minutes, using any of those sources,
to discover the facts about the first of Sherman's claims - that "the
Nazi's were elected to power by a support of the majority of the
German people". Some of the others will take longer, but I suspect
that you'll find the same pattern.

The literature is voluminous -- hell, it involved the entire world,
civilised and less so, for eight fuken years -- and some of us have
been reading it for over fifty years.

Yes, the literature is voluminous; when I was younger, I read quite a
bit of it. You won't find any claims like Sherman's six in any of
those books, though; which is why I want to see what, if any, reading
on the subject he has been doing.

That's a fuken polite way of saying "do your own fuken homework,"
which is a fuken polite way of saying,

"Don't ask me, ask your sword."

Oh, but I have; at least enough to know whether or not "the Nazi's
were elected to power by a support of the majority of the German
people." Not to mention several other of Sherman's six.

Speaking of "historical knowledge that we have and you don't," it is
a downright hilarious attribute of the Baby Generation that it
/expunged/ the Dirty Parts wherever it encountered them, because they
Made The Baby Have *Feelings*, and if the Baby is Having a *Feeling*,
Somebody Has Committed A *Crime*.
Well, yes, actually.
The Baby.
