a miracle occurred
at seven eleventh street
on thursday
at nine after noon
an elderly women
gave birth
to a dream
in her apartment
after watching
countless hours
of television...
....she did not moan
she had an ethnic match
with a young man
in the downstairs
dellie...
she had a history
she had suffered
and won
one
done
she had dollars
she still had her memory
she felt content
briefly.
