Yes, I was in yet another hurricane this past weekend in Lafayette.
Remember, I had evacuated to Lafayette after Katrina. We did OK, but
the area around here is devastated! Little towns like Abbeville,
Erath, etc. My sister's house in Beaumont was destroyed. A 100 yr.
old oak tree crashed through their house. They weren't there, thank
God. My house in New Orleans flooded again!!! The stupid levee broke
again. I'm depressed. LOL...that's an understatement, isn't it? But,
I'm trying to keep a good outlook. Jinn...what do you have to say?
You rotten piece of s**t!! I don't care what you say, really, because
I know that I have real friends in this group, and I appreciate every
kind word and all the encouragement you've given me. Thanks, everyone!
I'm truly sick of the word "hurricane", and I propose that it be taken
out of the English language..lol. Anyway, take care, and I'll be in
touch when I can get to the library. Oh, and I really do appreciate
your dedicating your set to Ms. Edna, Will. And thanks for the
encouraging email, Jim. Take care, everyone!
With kindest regards,
Elaine
