Be as it may . . .

yes, jr, I insulted those on this newsgroup who certainly
deserved it. The others won't take it personal and will actually
read the message because they know exactly who I was referring to.
yes, renay and michael cook, there were alot of dumbasses that
didn't listen to the warnings or built there homes where they shouldn't of.
anyone who has ever been through a major hurricane knows that a
category 5 can wipe you out no matter where you hide.
And no, I won't respond to gumby and tomeeboy or denizen cane (whoever he hides to be).
Their heartless and childishly shallow responses were expected
as they always are when I post to this group. I only hope madame marie
takes care of them (google her or ask your brainfart *** buddies who she is).
And that the souls (yes I said 'souls', renay) of those whose graves were turned
and who died may haunt the misfits I named here for the rest of their meager miserable lives.

Be that as it may, the fact remains there are innocent people who will be suffering
for a long time to come because of this destruction. Some of those that stayed behind were
not able to move on their own, they were elderly or sick or
children that had no choice because parents made the wrong decision.
No one in this area will ever again underestimate the power of a hurricane.
And no one that survived this storm will ever again consider an evacuation order
that turned out to be a hurricane that sputtered, a 'waste-of-time drill'.
New Orleans will rebuild with much tougher protections for their citizens
against another disaster such as this. Those that live in glass houses
should not throw stones. I refer to those living in the San Francisco area.
No matter what part of the world you live in, nature has its' reach. If you were in
their situation you would certainly want some humanity from your fellow
human beings on this earth. Even if you don't give anything else, the least
you can give is your compassion for others. Those here that seem so
callous to this plight will someday face their own demons. Whether it be
old age, disease or misery, we all have our crosses to bear.
I'm not asking anything of those that don't care. I am asking
those that do, to do whatever they can to help these people.
Here in Texas we have millions of illegal immigrants.
But now we have millions of refugees who are American
citizens. They have no homes to go back to. Many of them have
very little money left because they now no longer have jobs.
They have their families and they don't have food. Their only
possesions were either destroyed, flooded, washed away or
stolen. These are the people that DID evacuate.
The ones that didn't evacuate New Orleans have been
sitting on highways or in high rise buildings for three days
in 90 degree heat without water or food. Many of them are sitting on
highways waiting to be evacuated. Corpses are floating
through the streets throughout the city. Many more are
dead inside their own houses, drowned by the floodwaters.
No matter what you think these people should have or should not have done,
they deserve our immediate help.
As always, under one political party or the other, the federal assistance
has been slow to come. More helicopters, boats and military
security personnel should have been there days ago. The excuse
of the difficulty of 'getting in there' does not work for me.
It always seems that media reporters can get into anywhere, yet
the people that need to be in there helping can't seem to get there
quick enough. There are more military personnel at the Mardi Gras
parades than there are in New Orleans right now.
Go ahead and continue your petty bickering and insults here.
Don't let me slow you down. The two-year old mentality of
some here is evident to anyone with a lick of sense.
The freedom of creative poetry doesn't exist here either.
I visit to express my views and I will continue to do so
when I deem it neccessary. But for now I have neither time
to waste on the misfits here, nor time to spend with those
here worth spending time with. I have been very busy lately
and now more than ever.
Again to those that can, please help.
To those that won't, move on, your time will come.
