A few words before the episode actually begins
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
A really good poem that suits this point in the story
is John Donne's "Death Be Not Proud."
Death be not proud, thou some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me
...
...
But they used it already in "Exorcist III," and it was
especially well delivered too. So I am going to add
another quote here, this one from Oliver Goldsmith's
"An Elegy on the Death of a Mad Dog"
...
...
Around from all the neighboring streets
The wond'ring neighbors ran,
And swore the dog had lost its wits,
To bite so good a man.
The wound it seemed both sore and sad
To every Christian Eye;
And while they swore the dog was mad,
They swore the man would die.
But soon a wonder came to light,
That showed the rogues they lied;
The man recovered of his bite,
The dog it was that died.
You might have heard it said that "Dog bites man"
isn't much news but "Man bites dog" is. The variation
above isn't "news"; Oliver Goldsmith died in 1774.

~~ Episode the Thirty Fifth ~~~
The Gullible Conservatives
~ ~ ~
Recall from the last episode
Tirzo entered the negative universe
There the Americans weren't trying
To help form an Iraqi government
The Iraqis were trying
To help form an American government
The Iraqis were worried
About some of the factions in the United States
Who might try to take advantage of the situation
The Gullible Conservative faction had already
Caused much trouble
They voted in Bill Clinton twice
And were planning to vote in Hillary
Now you know the origin
Of the term "Gullible Conservative"
Complicating the situation
Were the incessant terrorist activities
Of the defeated United States
Some were not surprised
After all Negative Universe Hussein
Had accused Negative Universe Bush
Of developing religions of mass destruction
And after a thorough invasion
Of the United States had found no RMDs
(Indeed they found no religion of any kind,
But that is another and long story)
Then they said most Americans were peaceful
An just a few bloodthirsty thugs,
The Sly Liberals,
Ran things and there is the problem
Of when should Iraq pull out of the United States
How to keep the Sly Liberals
>From fooling the Gullible Conservatives
Tirzo tried to keep track of it all
And to find the demon
>From the negative universe
Who possessed Clazdar
At last he found it
In Negative Universe Massachusetts
The dreaded Kennedy Demon
The thing was enormous
With a bright red nose
It laughed as Tirzo approached
Then the thing said
So at last you found me out
But can you defeat me
