If you take a look again, you will see that I was not commenting on Howard's religious references, but upon his textual comments regarding the interior driving forces of the man and his son, which comments were quite accurate. And if you look at my comments again, you will see that I am commenting on how the actions of the characters in the text exhibit traits different from their motivations.
