Thanks! I hadn't seen that. There's a lot of stuff I knew about, but also some that I didn't. It was also pretty neat to see pictures from way back and to see the people involved in the history and in supplying the information about it. Lots of familiar names.

My cousin has worked at the sites of the old turpentine camps, cataloging graves. A good friend has spent a lot of time as a volunteer on digs at old middens left by the ancient people.

So much of Florida history, as history everywhere, has been paved over, but nothing is going to stop the rising ocean as the polar caps continue to melt. Atlantis is about to sink again.
