Well, the advantages of paper & writing implement are that they work even when the power goes out, they're much easier to transport than any laptop, and when inspiration strikes, you don't have to wait for them to boot up.

On the other hand, editing is a breeze on computer, backing up is much easier, and frankly I've always been subject to extreme writer's cramp when writing by hand. And if you lose your last working pen, you're reduced to writing in blood. So pluses and minuses.

I sometimes have an embarrassing inability to read my own writing. Computers are much safer that way.
