A little while ago Jill mentioned "The Salaryman's Wife" by Sujata Massey.
Because Jill has such exceptionally good taste in books, I took notice -
and now I'm happily halfway through with the next in the series waiting for
me. The characters are lively and I really love the setting, possibly
because I love travel so much and because a friend of mine has recently
returned from a holiday in Japan. I can already tell that I'm going to
race through the whole series with pleasure. And soon I want to go to
Japan. (That last sentence was so predictable!)

I agree that Jill has excellent taste in books. She recommended "On the
Ropes" by Tom Schreck, here a while ago, so I picked it up. What a great
book! Interesting characters, humour, and a very beguiling dog. I recommend
it also. Thanks, Jill.
