Sort of OT - Confessions of an Economic Hit Man

I really have a mixed mind about this book, which came to me via a library
sale recently...
Opinions I have read either strongly support or strongly denounce the book
and the writer. Little middle ground. The concept is certainly interesting
and fits well with current affairs, but there is a certain tinge of "Ickie
Lizard people" that comes across from the text. Now, that might be because
I don't want to believe it is true. It might also be that as it tends to
support some of my views, I am leery of wholehearted enthusiasm for fear
that it is a fake. It is a little like an Alex Jones rant done with
thought.
So now begins the long process of using the Internet to check out certain
"facts" presented by the writer. Not that such a process is all that
reliable.
Anyone read this? Comments?
