That is so scary, and your news is so good! Staph is awful -- it's sometimes called "sterile abcess" because it is so hard to eradicate. Thank goodness for really good doctors and really good drugs!
It's a lot harder to be the one that is well, and waiting and trying to think of things to make it better, than it is to be the sick one who is busy being sick and tended to, you know. ;-)
