I'm curious what RAM members think of Lost, which my wife is watching
right now, along with most of America. I think it's crap -- smoke and
mirrors and half-baked literary references. Give me The X-Files any
day -- it knew not to take itself too seriously, at least in its early
days.
I watched Lost until somewhere in the first season it was week after week
of repeats with no new episodes in sight. I stopped watching.
As for The X-Files - it suffered from having no ending worth having. If
you're going to pose questions and a long running mystery, you better have
an ending or I'm going to be mighty annoyed.
It also suffered from having egotist Chris Carter in charge.
