Joanne: I'd second this suggestion. Even if you never publish it, it
can be fun and satisfying to write it up. I just spent about a year's
worth of free time writing up the story of how I spent the winter of
78-79, traveling. It will almost certainly never even be read by
anyone but me and my friends that I traveled with, but writing it was
deeply enjoyable.
